Family owned and operated since 1995, Branches of Hilton Head specializes in permanent (faux) botanicals and florals, custom faux floral and greenery design, home decor, found (salvaged) goods, and antiques. Designers and sisters, Sarah Perry & Lauren McAvoy, took over the business started by their mother and continue creating unique designs and curating fun finds.
Branches reflects the changing of the seasons with unique floral displays, interesting antiques, beautiful gifts produced by local artisans, and repurposed vintage items. Inspired by special finds, natural elements, and pieces that feel like home, the store always offers new things to explore.

Co-Owner & Lead Designer, Sarah Perry
Tagging along with her mother to work at the fresh florist since childhood, Sarah has been surrounded by flowers and plants for much her life. This love for floral has stayed with her and is represented in her work.
Now mother of her own two beautiful girls, Sarah is raising her girls with same passion for art and hard work ethic.
With a background in the fashion arts, Sarah has an eye for textiles and colors. Modern textures and organic elements inspire her style. Pushing for perfection, she has an attention to detail in her work. She strives to recycle vintage goods to create striking store displays and is constantly re displaying to keep the store fresh and unique.
Co-Owner & Lead Designer, Lauren McAvoy
Playing hide-and-go-seek in her Uncle's Greenhouses, Lauren has always loved plants and botanicals. This knowledge is apparent in her quest for only the best quality foliages and permanent florals.
With a strong since of family, you will often find Lauren’s little ones making their own inspired “ ‘rangements” in the Shop or snacking on one of the homemade cookies.
Lauren’s background in interior design melds perfectly with her floral design. Specializing in custom, Lauren works hand-hand with decorators and clients in creating the ideal piece. Her love of the SC outdoors make Lauren’s work a natural fit to the Lowcountry style of living. Her flare for found objects and mid-century design add her own personal touch to the shop making it a ‘must see’.
